How do I get in-warranty and out-of-warranty service?
For in-warranty service, each manufacturer has designated service agencies that they have contracted with to cover specific gegraphical territories. Your local Supply America distributor can put you in touch with both the manufacturer and the service agency for your particular piece of equipment. Out-of-warranty service can be performed by any qualified personnel of your choice.
How long does it take for goods to be delivered to my facility?
If the items you ordered are in stock, they are usually sent out the same day you order them. If ordered late in the day, they are sent out the following day. Some items, particularly equipment, may have a lead time associated with it. When that is the case, the distributor's sales person can advise you on what the lead time will be.
How do I order online?
It is easier than you think. Simply click on our on-line catalog link which will open up to our "Storefront," then follow the easy-to-use prompts. The system is user friendly and is designed to guide you through the process.
Do orders have to be placed online?
Not at all. You can still send them in via mail, fax, telephone, or email, whichever is most convenient for you.
Who do I contact with problems concerning my order?
The best person to help you with problems regarding your order is the sales person you normally work with at your distributor.
Can you provide me with samples?
Yes. Simply request the samples you need from the sales person you usually work with at the distributor and they will arrange to get them to you. Based on the requirements of the particular manufacturer, charges may apply.
Do you have test kitchens available for new product testing?
Yes. Work with your local distributor's sales person who can arrange a time for you to test your recipes and try the piece of equipment that will best suit your needs.
Are there professionals who can help with specifying, designing, and installing the equipment?
Yes. Specialists, who can take you from an idea to a full turnkey operation, are at every location. Some of our distributors have been in business for over 100 years and hire only the most knowledgeable people for each field of expertise.
Can you stock proprietary inventory?
We currently stock many proprietary items for a wide variety of end users at each of our locations.
Can you provide reports on sales activities?
Yes. We recognize that in today's sophisticated and competitive environment sales reports are an important tool to help you manage your business. We can help you design a report that will be informative in showing emerging trends, as well as sales broken down into various areas.
Can I purchase products from any foodservice manufacturer?
Absolutely, and with our size and buying power, you are guaranteed competitive pricing regardless of which product or manufacturer you choose.
How late in the day can I place orders?
Orders can be placed 24/7 on our web-based order-entry system. An acknowledgement will be sent to you immediately. Orders can also be faxed or emailed 24/7. Telephone orders must be placed during the distributor's operating hours, which are generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If an order is placed by early afternoon, and the item is in stock, the item can usually be shipped the same day. If the order is placed later in the day, it will be sent out the following day. Equipment may have a lead time associated with it. If that is the case, your distributor's sales person will advise you as to what the lead time will be.
Do you always deliver in your own truck?
We will deliver your item in the fastest and least expensive way possible, depending on your need. Many times, if your location is in close proximity to one of our distribution centers and the items ordered are in stock, we will deliver on our own trucks. If an item is being drop shipped directly from a manufacturer, it will come to you via UPS or common carrier. If your location is not in close proximity to one of our distribution centers, we may send your order via UPS or common carrier depending on the size of the order.
Do you have a minimum order?
No. We accept any size order, regardless of size.
